Chattanooga Zoo Welcomes New Species

Good News Notes: Northern White-Cheeked Gibbons are now at the Chattanooga Zoo this fall. Northern White-Cheeked Gibbons are found in Asia and “are the smallest of the apes, averaging around 12 pounds in weight and 18-25 inches in height.” Northern White-Cheeked Gibbons are listed as critically endangered.
