KCSD collects food, hygiene items for weekend backpack program

Good News Notes:

“For many in the Keystone Central School District, it can hit close to home. When the school week ends on Friday afternoon, many students leave school hungry — and won’t eat again until they return on Monday morning.”

“To help those students, KCSD along with the Lock Haven YMCA have teamed up to combat hunger and food insecurity.”

“During last week’s KCSD school board meeting, superintendent Jacquelyn Martin lauded director of pupil services Christina Manning for her efforts in a recent food collection drive.”
