“During the flash flooding that occurred on Oct. 31, a McCandless police officer went above and beyond her duties. She picked up two women, one of whom was blind at the PNC Bank, Pine Creek, and drove them to the flooded Park n Ride on Blazer Drive.”
“She made certain the blind woman’s ride home had arrived and she could depart safely. She went the extra mile and drove the other woman’s car out of the standing water.”
“She was a hero to both. I will continue to pray for the men and women who are our public servants. I hope you, too, can appreciate their service.”
