“Emergency crews rescued a worker who was trapped on top of a high-rise McDonald’s sign near the Interstate 75 exit to Middletown.”
“Firefighters were dispatched at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday to the McDonald’s on Commerce Drive after receiving reports that a man working on the sign was stuck on top of it.”
“While the temperature was below freezing. the trapped worker and rescuers suffered no weather-related injuries,” Middletown Fire Chief Paul Lolli said.
