Around 40 students from Topeka Collegiate’s 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes were sprucing up Old Prairie Town. Their efforts were part of United Way’s annual Nancy Perry Day of Caring.
The Head of Schools said she closes the middle school 3 times a year to allow the students the time to go and help others in the community.
The Day of Caring honors former United Way CEO Nancy Perry.
