“The fresh snow was an opportunity for a mother from Weare to teach her children a life lesson during the pandemic.
Meagan Sbat got an idea from Facebook, to take her family and build a snowman outside a senior living facility where it can be appreciated. She got in touch with Presidential Oaks in Concord to set it up.
Her daughter and son asked why not just build a snowman at home?
‘We want to spread love, we want to spread kindness, we want these people to look out their window and smile because they get to see a snowman,’ Sbat said. ‘We gave pennies for the eyeballs and dug up some sticks for a nose and a button and some arms and the kids had fun and it was a nice lesson.’”
