“Members of the Black Hawk Wildlife Rehabilitation Project are working to clean up animals affected by the incident that happened Thursday when a tanker truck spilled fuel in Waterloo.
That spill occurred following a tanker truck crashing into a home on East Ridgeway Avenue Thursday morning. Neighbors were evacuated for some time while crews cleaned up the spill.
Some of it reportedly ran into the storm sewer system. While crews worked to flush those lines, some animals were still impacted.”
