NFL news: Colin Kaepernick contributes to coronavirus relief in communities

Good News Notes:

“Colin Kaepernick hasn’t been given another chance in the NFL, but that isn’t stopping him from doing charitable work off of the gridiron. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Kaepernick made a sizable donation to help the relief efforts in POC communities.

In an attempt to help people of color that have been affected by the coronavirus, Kaepernick donated $100,000 to a relief fund. This comes after Jerome Adams, the U.S. Surgeon General, revealed that people of color are more likely to contract the coronavirus.

On the other hand, Adams said that people of color are less likely to have jobs that allow them to work from home. Thus, making it tougher for people of color to have the proper healthcare and medical testing during these trying times.”
