Sunday was a big day at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida.  The zoo celebrated the birth of a baby giraffe.  This was the sixth giraffe born at the zoo. Zoo officials report the baby is healthy and nursing as expected.  Weighing in at 125 pounds, the new baby stands 6 feet tall. Congratulations to mom and dad and the zoo.
