“The National Hockey League and several of its franchises have reached out to support the home city of the Nashville Predators in the wake of a deadly tornado.
The Minnesota Wild announced a $25,000 team donation, as well as an additional $25,000 donation from franchise owner Craig Leipold and his wife Helen, to support victims of the tornado in Nashville on Tuesday.
The NHL then announced it would match the combined $50,000 donation to help support the relief efforts in middle Tennessee.”
