“Manzanita Elementary School staff launched the Kindness Challenge Jan. 27, with signs welcoming students to school.
There were positive motivational messages, such as ‘Kindness Matter,’ ‘Make everybody feel like somebody,’ ‘Dream Big’ and ‘You are amazing (heart) remember that!’”
“Every class also random acts of kindness. Some students wrote letters, some did campus clean up. Classes did kind words. One class focused on the cafeteria all week. They made a purple sign with student signatures that said ‘Thank you bunches for our lunches love Room 7.’”
