Two dogs rescued from house fire in Montgomery County

Good News Notes:

“Two dogs were rescued from a house fire in Montgomery County Friday.”

“According to Chief Drew Smith and the Blacksburg Volunteer Fire Department, a call came in reporting a structure fire in the 400 block of Aurora Lane around 5 p.m. According to a neighbor, the son of the family who lives in the house left about 30 minutes before they saw flames.”

“There were no people in the home at the time. Animal Control has taken the two dogs that were unharmed and will be holding them until they can be reunited with their owner and find a place to stay.”
