Miami cops helped homeless family instead of herding them off street

“Instead, he, his wife and their four children found themselves at a Miami bus depot, kicked out of a relative’s home, preparing to spend the night in a waiting room with their belongings in plastic garbage bags, reported CNN.”

“As a last-ditch effort the man approached several Miami-Dade cops who were on patrol, explaining his situation and asking them for help.”
