$5,000 donation goes to Yucaipa Animal Placement Society, thanks to Project Fluffy

 Good News Notes:

“The Earlyact Club at Yucaipa’s Wildwood Elementary School is continuing work on its Project Fluffy, benefiting the Yucaipa Animal Placement Society.”

“The students chose to raise money for the “Sponsor a Kennel” program at YAPS, and their fundraising projects included selling handmade dog and cat toys, dog and cat treats, posters and greeting cards at the school “Paw Shop,” at the Yucaipa Music and Arts Festival and at the Rotary Cash Draw fundraising dinner. They also sold crocheted blankets and scarves and each raised a minimum of $25 on his or her own as well.”

“By May, the students had raised $2,500 and a teacher at Wildwood Elementary matched the funds through an endowment fund earmarked for charity, according to the press release.”
