Good News Notes:

A passenger on her bus asked her if he could ride all night to stay warm.  He added that he was now homeless since his residence had been condemned.

The driver said yes to his request but didn’t stop there.  She took a break to eat later and bought food for the homeless passenger.  On another break, she called a friend and found him a spot in a temporary shelter to help him get back on his feet.

This driver regularly carries extra peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to offer to those in need so her supervisors were not surprised to hear of her actions.  They did give her what is now her third commendation for outstanding service.
